SidekickCBT

SidekickCBT is a mobile + web AI-assisted mental health app built for people who already know “journaling helps” but can’t do it when anxiety spikes or depression flattens motivation. It focuses on ultra-short, guided interventions (60–180 seconds) triggered by context: time of day, calendar stressors, sleep debt, and self-reported intensity. The AI doesn’t pretend to be a therapist; it acts like a structured coach that turns messy thoughts into CBT-friendly formats (thought record, cognitive distortions, behavioral activation micro-steps) and then pushes a single next action. It includes a “Spiral Mode” that reduces choices to three buttons and a “Recovery Plan” that builds a realistic weekly routine with friction checks. Safety features include crisis resources, red-flag detection, and optional clinician-approved templates. Monetization is subscription with a free tier that’s genuinely usable.
