SidelineCut
SidelineCut is a web app (with optional mobile uploader) for sports documentary editors and producers who drown in multi-camera game footage, interviews, and b-roll. It auto-organizes media by game, team, player, and moment, then generates searchable transcripts and time-coded highlights so editors can build a rough cut in hours instead of days. Upload footage, sync cameras by audio, and get a “story bin” of key beats (injuries, clutch plays, coach speeches, crowd reactions) with confidence scores and source references. It’s not a magic “make my film” button—expect manual review—but it removes the worst grunt work: logging, string-outs, and finding the one quote you remember. Export to Premiere Pro/DaVinci with markers, subclips, and metadata so teams can keep working in their existing post workflow.
