SidelineCut is a mobile + web AI-assisted app for coaches, parents, and small clubs to create short-form sports highlights from messy sideline video. Users upload a full game recording (phone or camcorder), tag the roster once, and the app auto-detects key moments (shots, goals, big saves, celebrations) using audio spikes, motion patterns, and optional scoreboard OCR. It then generates 9:16 and 1:1 clips with simple templates: player name, team logo, score/time, and a clean end card. The workflow is built for real life: shaky video, loud environments, partial views, and inconsistent lighting. Sharing is one tap to TikTok/Instagram/YouTube Shorts or private team feeds. Monetization is subscription per team plus pay-per-game processing for occasional users. The goal is not “Hollywood edits,” but fast, good-enough highlights that actually get posted.
