SidewalkOps

SidewalkOps is a mobile + web app for cities, campuses, and BIDs to reduce last‑mile micromobility mess (blocked sidewalks, toppled scooters, bad parking) without buying new hardware. It creates a lightweight “field ops” layer: residents and staff report issues with photo + location, and the app routes tasks to verified responders (operators, campus staff, contracted crews, or gig workers). Each task has clear SLAs, geofenced proof-of-fix photos, and an audit trail that can be shared with micromobility providers for credits/chargebacks. A simple dashboard shows hotspots, repeat offenders, and response times. This is not a consumer scooter app; it’s operational plumbing that helps public spaces stay usable. Realistically, adoption requires a champion (city/campus) and tight workflows—otherwise it becomes another ignored reporting tool.
