SightSprint

SightSprint is a mobile + web AI-assisted sight-reading trainer for piano, guitar, and wind players who keep “practicing” but never improve their reading speed. It generates short, level-appropriate excerpts, listens through the mic or MIDI, and scores rhythm, pitch, and continuity (did you keep going?). The app focuses on the unsexy skill most learners avoid: reading in real time without stopping. Users pick an instrument, difficulty, and time budget (3–10 minutes/day). The system adapts based on mistakes, then schedules micro-reviews so improvements compound. It also includes a “no-stopping mode” that penalizes restarts and trains recovery—how real ensemble playing works. This is not a full music course; it’s a focused drill tool built for measurable progress and accountability.
