SignalCache
SignalCache is a mobile + web app that helps schools, NGOs, and families in low-connectivity areas deliver “offline-first” learning and essential web content. On a teacher’s or community device with occasional internet, it automatically downloads approved bundles (Khan Academy playlists, Wikipedia sections, government forms, job listings, health guides) and syncs them to nearby phones via local Wi‑Fi hotspot or Bluetooth. Students can search, read, watch low-bitrate videos, and complete quizzes fully offline; progress syncs whenever any device gets a connection. Admins get simple dashboards showing which content is actually being accessed, so they stop wasting bandwidth on irrelevant downloads. This is not magic: it won’t replace real broadband, but it can make intermittent connectivity far more productive and reduce data costs dramatically for communities that already ration every megabyte.
