SignalSlate

SignalSlate is a web + mobile app for people who rely on broadcast and cable schedules but are tired of last-minute changes, regional blackouts, and confusing channel mappings. It aggregates official listings with real-world confirmation from multiple sources (station feeds, EPG providers, and user-submitted “now airing” checks) to flag discrepancies in near real time. Users can follow specific shows, sports teams, or time slots and get alerts when a program is delayed, pre-empted, moved to a sister channel, or replaced due to breaking news. The app also keeps a personal “channel map” per zip code/provider so households with cable, antenna, or both can quickly find the correct channel number. This is not a magic “watch anything” app; it’s a reliability layer for finding what’s actually on, especially during live events and local programming.
