SignalSprout
SignalSprout is a mobile app (with a parent web dashboard) that helps caregivers spot early mental-health risk signals in kids ages 6–12 using short, low-friction check-ins and behavior tracking. Parents log a 30-second daily snapshot (sleep, school stress, meltdowns, appetite, social withdrawal) and can optionally invite a teacher/caregiver to submit a weekly “outside-the-home” pulse. The app turns this into simple trend lines and plain-language alerts (e.g., “sleep down + irritability up for 10 days”). It also provides evidence-based, age-appropriate micro-interventions (routines, coping scripts, sensory breaks) and a “when to escalate” guide with local resources. It is not therapy and won’t pretend to diagnose; it’s a structured monitoring and action tool that reduces guesswork. Privacy is strict: child data is encrypted, sharing is opt-in, and nothing is sold to advertisers.
