SignalSwerve
SignalSwerve is a mobile app + web dashboard that delivers traffic updates using municipal signal timing and intersection sensor feeds where available, supplemented by crowdsourced incident reports. Instead of relying mainly on probe data (which can lag and gets noisy in dense areas), it highlights what’s actually happening at intersections: spillback risk, signal outages, abnormal cycle lengths, and corridor-level slowdowns. Drivers get push alerts for their saved routes and commute windows, with clear confidence labels based on data source (city feed vs. crowd vs. inferred). A lightweight web dashboard targets fleet managers and local delivery operators who need reliable ETAs and reroute suggestions during peak hours. This is not magic: coverage will start city-by-city, and the app is only as good as the data partnerships you can secure. But where it works, it’s noticeably more actionable than generic “red line” maps.
