SignalSync

SignalSync is a mobile + web app that gives teachers fast, consistent attention signals without yelling, clapping patterns, or hunting for a remote. Teachers choose a set of visual and audio cues (chime, countdown, call-and-response prompts, on-screen icon) and trigger them from their phone, smartwatch, or laptop. A student-facing screen (projector/TV/web link) shows a large timer, simple icon, and optional instructions like “Eyes on me in 5.” It logs which signals were used and how long it took to regain attention, helping teachers see what actually works per class period. This is a traditional app with light AI: optional auto-suggestions based on past response times and time-of-day. It’s intentionally simple because teachers won’t tolerate complicated setup during live instruction.
