SignAudit

SignAudit is a mobile + web AI app for testing wayfinding and signage in real buildings without expensive studies. Teams upload floor plans (PDF/CAD export) and define destinations (exits, elevators, clinics, gates). On-site staff or recruited testers run short “find X” tasks using the mobile app; the app records paths, time-to-destination, hesitation points, and missed signs (with quick photo capture). AI then generates a clear report: heatmaps of confusion, top failure routes, recommended sign placements, copy tweaks, and priority fixes ranked by impact and cost. It also produces a simple “sign schedule” export (location, message, arrow direction, mounting height notes) to hand to fabricators. This is not a full indoor navigation system; it’s a pragmatic measurement and iteration tool for architects, facilities, and retail ops who need evidence that wayfinding works.
