SignBrief is a mobile + web AI app that converts sign language video (ASL first) into readable, time-stamped notes and action items for classes, meetings, and appointments. Users record or upload video, then the app produces: (1) a rough sign-to-text transcript, (2) a “clean notes” version with speaker turns and summaries, and (3) searchable highlights linked to the exact video moments. Brutal truth: perfect sign-to-text is not solved, so the product is designed around “good enough + editable” output, with confidence scores and quick correction tools. The real value is not claiming flawless translation, but saving time for Deaf/HoH professionals, interpreters, and teams who need documentation. The app also supports exporting to Google Docs/Notion, and sharing a secure link so others can review the original signed segments when accuracy matters.
