SignRelay

SignRelay is a mobile + web app that helps Deaf and hard-of-hearing people get quick, reliable sign-language support in real life. Instead of trying to auto-translate sign language (which is still error-prone), it connects users to vetted on-demand interpreters for short “micro-calls” (2–10 minutes) for common situations: pharmacy pickup, landlord calls, school questions, clinic check-in, delivery issues, or customer support. The app includes one-tap scenario templates so users don’t have to explain context under stress, plus secure call notes and receipts for follow-ups. For organizations (small clinics, property managers, local businesses), a lightweight web dashboard lets staff request an interpreter instantly and document accessibility compliance. This is a practical service product: it wins by being fast, predictable, and trustworthy—not by promising magical AI sign recognition.
