SignScribe
SignScribe is a mobile + web AI app that records in-person or video-call conversations and produces time-stamped, searchable notes for sign-language users and mixed hearing/Deaf teams. It focuses on a narrow, high-value workflow: meetings, classes, and appointments where people need a reliable written record afterward. Users capture video (phone tripod or webcam), choose the sign language (starting with ASL), and get a structured summary, key decisions, action items, and a glossary of recurring signs mapped to agreed terms. It also supports “human-in-the-loop” correction: a Deaf user or interpreter can quickly fix segments, improving future accuracy for that team. Export to Google Docs/Notion, share with attendees, and store securely with strict consent prompts. This is not a universal “sign-to-speech” dream app; it’s a practical documentation tool where partial accuracy is still useful.
