SIMSentry

SIMSentry is a mobile app that detects and responds to SIM-swap and carrier-account takeover signals in near real time. It monitors device and network indicators (SIM change events, sudden loss of service, carrier profile changes, suspicious call forwarding, and unusual SMS delivery behavior) and triggers an immediate “lockdown” checklist: disable SMS-based 2FA, prompt you to switch to authenticator/passkeys, and notify trusted contacts. It also provides carrier-specific steps and scripts to quickly reach the right support channel and place a port-out/SIM-swap PIN, plus a secure vault for recovery codes and account ownership documents. This is not magic—no consumer app can fully prevent a carrier-side compromise—but it can drastically shorten detection time and guide the user through the highest-impact mitigations when minutes matter.
