SiteLensXR is a mobile AR app for construction and MEP trades that overlays BIM/CAD layouts onto the real jobsite so crews can verify placement before drilling, cutting, or mounting. It focuses on one painful workflow: “is this installed where the plan says?” Users load a sheet or model export, align it using QR markers or known reference points, then record AR-anchored photos, measurements, and punch items. The app generates a shareable verification report for foremen, GCs, and inspectors, reducing disputes and change orders. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps detect misalignment, flag likely clashes (e.g., conduit vs. studs), and auto-label photos. Be realistic: AR tracking is imperfect and jobsites are messy; the product wins by being ‘good enough’ and audit-friendly, not magical.
