SiteSentry is a mobile + web app for archaeologists, heritage NGOs, and local authorities to monitor vulnerable antiquities sites with low-cost, repeat satellite imagery and simple on-the-ground check-ins. Users define site boundaries, set alert thresholds, and receive notifications when fresh ground disturbance patterns appear (new pits, tracks, spoil heaps). The app pairs each alert with a lightweight incident workflow: assign a responder, log photos, capture GPS, and generate a shareable report for partners or law enforcement. It’s not a magic “catch looters” button—imagery can be cloudy, false positives happen, and response capacity is often limited. But it turns scattered monitoring into a consistent, auditable process and helps organizations prioritize scarce field visits. Pricing is subscription-based per monitored site cluster, with discounted tiers for nonprofits and universities.
