SkillGapper helps workers and job-seekers translate real job postings into a practical, time-boxed reskilling plan. Users paste a job link (or upload multiple postings), and the app extracts recurring skills, tools, and responsibilities, then ranks gaps against the user’s current profile. It generates a 4–8 week learning roadmap with concrete tasks (mini-projects, practice prompts, and checkpoints) and links to curated, low-cost resources. The focus is not “learn everything,” but “learn the minimum viable skills to pass screening and perform in month one.” Progress tracking is simple: weekly goals, evidence uploads (GitHub, portfolio, certificates), and a readiness score aligned to the target roles. It also supports employer/internal mobility use: managers can define a role template and employees get a plan to bridge into it with measurable outcomes.
