SkillLedger

SkillLedger is a mobile + web app for youth coaches to measure player development with simple, repeatable skill check-ins. Instead of vague notes, coaches run quick evaluations (e.g., first touch, passing accuracy, sprint time, decision-making) using standardized rubrics and short video clips. The app turns those inputs into a clear “development ledger” per athlete: what improved, what stalled, and what to do next week. Parents get a controlled view that reduces sideline arguments because feedback is specific and time-stamped. It’s not a magic performance booster—coaches still need to coach—but it makes progress visible and consistent across a season. The MVP focuses on one sport template at a time (start with soccer or basketball) to avoid becoming a bloated, generic platform. Monetization is team subscriptions with optional club-wide admin reporting.
