SkillRung is a mobile + web AI app that turns a user’s current job, schedule, and local labor market into a realistic “next rung” plan: the nearest higher-paying role they can reach with minimal time and cost. Users connect a resume/LinkedIn, optionally share pay and hours, and select constraints (childcare, commute radius, nights/weekends). The app recommends 1–3 target roles, the exact skills/certs that matter in their city, and a weekly micro-plan (30–90 minutes/day) with free/low-cost learning links. It also tracks applications, suggests tailored resume bullets, and flags “dead-end” paths where wages don’t actually rise locally. For workforce orgs/employers, a dashboard shows anonymized progress and completion rates. This is not a motivational app; it’s a pragmatic planner focused on measurable wage movement within 3–9 months.
