SkillScribe

SkillScribe is a web + mobile AI-assisted app that helps special education teams convert messy, inconsistent session notes into clear, trackable skill targets and next-step activities. Therapists and aides quickly log what happened (voice or quick taps), and the app generates a structured summary aligned to common domains (communication, motor, behavior, academics) and suggests 1–2 realistic follow-up tasks for the classroom and home. It also produces parent-friendly updates without jargon and flags missing data (e.g., no baseline, no frequency). This is not an IEP-writing machine; it’s a workflow tool to reduce documentation chaos and improve continuity between OT/SLP/ABA and teachers. Expect pushback if you claim it “saves hours” for everyone—some teams won’t change habits. But for schools already drowning in notes, it can meaningfully reduce rework and miscommunication.
