SkillSwap

SkillSwap is a mobile + web app for casual sports groups that struggle to find reliable organizers, refs, and basic coaching. Instead of paying, players earn “credits” by doing small tasks—bringing cones, setting up goals, running warmups, keeping score, or giving a 15-minute skills clinic. Those credits unlock priority spots in popular pick-up runs or discounted entry fees when organizers charge. The app tracks attendance, task completion, and simple peer ratings to prevent freeloading. Organizers get a lightweight dashboard to post sessions, list needed tasks, and auto-assign volunteers based on past reliability. It’s not trying to replace existing pick-up discovery apps; it fixes the unsexy operational problem: the same few people always do the work and burn out. Expect slower adoption unless you seed it with a few strong communities first.
