SkyPlotter
SkyPlotter is a mobile + desktop app for engineers and field techs using GPS/GNSS modules who need to quickly diagnose why positioning is bad. It connects to receivers over USB-serial, Bluetooth, or TCP, parses NMEA/UBX/RTCM, and visualizes satellite skyplot, SNR, multipath indicators, DOP, fix stability, and correction age in a single “health” dashboard. The core value is repeatable, shareable diagnostics: one-tap session recording, automatic anomaly flags (cycle slips, spoofing/jamming suspicion, bad antenna bias, correction dropouts), and exportable reports for vendors or internal QA. This is not a consumer navigation app; it’s a practical troubleshooting tool that saves time on site and reduces back-and-forth with hardware suppliers. Realistically, it will only appeal to a niche, but that niche pays for tools that reduce truck rolls and failed installs.
