SkyProof
SkyProof is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that objectively grades weather forecasts against what actually happened, by location and time window. Users select forecast sources (NWS, ECMWF-derived feeds, popular consumer apps where accessible, and model blends), then SkyProof computes accuracy metrics that matter: precipitation hit/miss, timing error, temperature bias, wind error, and severe-weather lead time. It produces simple “trust scores” per source for your exact use case (e.g., 6–10am commute rain, afternoon convection, coastal wind), plus a transparent breakdown showing where each source fails. This is not a new forecast app; it’s a forecast accountability and decision-support layer for people who lose money or safety margin when forecasts are wrong. Expect messy data, edge cases, and occasional ambiguity—SkyProof focuses on statistical honesty, not pretty maps.
