SlipFence

SlipFence is a web app (with a lightweight Slack/Teams companion) that monitors project timelines for “silent slippage” and forces early, concrete decisions. Instead of being yet another Gantt chart, it connects to Jira/Linear/Asana and your calendar to detect when work is aging, dependencies are blocked, or milestones are repeatedly re-forecasted. It then generates a weekly “Timeline Risk Brief” that highlights the few schedule threats that actually matter, proposes trade-offs (scope cut, resequence, add capacity), and requires an owner to choose an action with a date. The app tracks whether the chosen mitigation happened and measures forecast accuracy over time, so teams can’t hide behind optimistic updates. It’s designed for small-to-mid product and delivery teams that already have tools, but still miss dates because no one surfaces risk early enough or makes hard calls soon enough.
