SlipSense

SlipSense is a web app (with optional desktop companion) that automatically pulls public GNSS/GPS station time-series (e.g., UNAVCO/Plate Boundary Observatory archives and other open networks), cleans the data, and turns it into simple, defensible deformation products: velocity vectors, strain-rate maps, and “what changed this month” alerts. It’s aimed at researchers and consultants who currently waste hours wrangling formats, offsets, equipment changes, and seasonal signals before they can even start interpreting tectonics. The app provides reproducible processing pipelines, clear uncertainty reporting, and export-ready figures for papers and reports. It’s not a magic earthquake predictor; it’s a workflow accelerator that makes crustal deformation monitoring less painful and more standardized. An AI assistant helps draft methods text, flag suspicious steps/offsets, and explain plots in plain language, but the core outputs remain physics/statistics-based and auditable.
