SlotSprint

SlotSprint is a web app (with a lightweight mobile scanner companion) that optimizes slotting and pick paths for small-to-mid warehouses that can’t justify expensive WMS modules. It ingests order history (CSV/API), location master data, and simple travel rules (aisle layout, one-way aisles, zone constraints). It then recommends: (1) which SKUs to move to which bins to reduce travel, and (2) daily pick-path batches that minimize walking while respecting constraints like cart capacity and zone picking. The app focuses on practicality: it outputs move lists, printable labels, and pick waves that supervisors can actually execute. It also tracks “did we follow the plan?” via scan events and produces a blunt ROI report (minutes saved vs. labor cost). This isn’t magic—bad data and chaotic operations will limit gains—but for warehouses with stable layouts and repeatable orders, it can deliver measurable reductions in travel time.
