SMBGuardrail

SMBGuardrail is a web app (with optional lightweight endpoint agent) that gives small businesses a practical, managed-security layer without enterprise complexity. It continuously checks core controls—MFA coverage, exposed services, risky admin accounts, stale devices, missing backups, and suspicious sign-in patterns—then turns findings into a short weekly “fix list” with clear owners and step-by-step remediation. It integrates with Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, common firewalls, and endpoint tools to pull signals and verify whether fixes actually happened. An AI assistant summarizes risk in plain English, drafts user-facing comms (e.g., “enable MFA” emails), and suggests the smallest set of changes that materially reduce risk. The product is built for MSPs or lean IT teams: multi-tenant, templated policies, and evidence reports that are usable for cyber insurance questionnaires and basic compliance requests. It’s not a full MDR replacement—it's the missing operational layer that keeps basics from slipping.
