SodaShelf

SodaShelf is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) for people who buy lots of soda, try limited editions, or keep a home “soda fridge.” You scan barcodes, log where you bought it, price, size, caffeine/sugar, and a quick rating. The app then shows what you actually drink, what you waste, and what’s hard to find again. It also alerts you when a soda you like drops in price at nearby stores (via user-submitted receipts and optional retailer links), and flags duplicates so you don’t keep buying the same mediocre flavors. This is not a magical “discover everything” app; coverage will be strongest where users are active. The MVP focuses on personal inventory + price history + simple community sightings, because that’s achievable without needing expensive retailer data deals.
