SofaReceipt is a mobile + web app that acts as a “warranty vault” and lifecycle tracker for home furniture. Users forward purchase emails or scan paper receipts/QR codes, and the app extracts product details, retailer, order number, delivery date, warranty terms, and return windows. It then creates a timeline with reminders for return cutoffs, assembly issues, stain-protection claims, and warranty expiration. You can attach photos of damage, delivery condition, and serial tags, generating a ready-to-send claim packet with the right wording and documents for each retailer/manufacturer. The app also tracks furniture value for insurance inventories and helps schedule maintenance reminders (tighten screws, re-oil wood, rotate cushions). This is not glamorous, but it solves a recurring administrative mess that costs people real money when something fails and they can’t find proof or miss deadlines.
