SoilSnapper
SoilSnapper is a mobile + web app that helps agronomists, environmental consultants, and researchers standardize soil field observations and generate defensible, client-ready soil reports fast. Users capture a guided set of photos (profile pit, aggregates, color chart, texture ribbon, site context), GPS, slope, land use, and quick tests (pH strip, EC meter). An AI assistant suggests USDA/WRB texture class, Munsell color approximation, structure, and compaction risk, then drafts a report with confidence scores and prompts for missing evidence. The app stores projects, creates repeatable templates per client, and exports to PDF + CSV/GeoJSON for GIS. Brutal reality: it won’t replace lab analysis; it wins by cutting admin time, reducing inconsistent notes, and making field documentation audit-proof.
