SOPDelta is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for civil service teams to manage and communicate changes to standard operating procedures, directives, and internal guidance. It focuses on the unglamorous reality: documents live in SharePoint/Google Drive, updates happen via messy redlines, and staff miss critical changes. SOPDelta connects to existing repositories, snapshots each version, and produces a plain-language “what changed” summary with a required acknowledgement workflow by role/unit. It also logs who acknowledged what and when, and provides an audit-friendly trail for inspectors, internal controls, and leadership. This is not a full document management system; it’s a thin layer that makes change visibility and accountability real. Expect long sales cycles and procurement friction, so the MVP should target small agencies, municipalities, and quasi-government entities first.
