SOPSnap
SOPSnap is a web app (with a lightweight desktop companion) that helps teams convert tribal knowledge into clear, usable how-to guides and SOPs. Users record a workflow once (screen capture, browser steps, or a phone video for physical tasks), then the app auto-generates a step-by-step tutorial with screenshots, annotated callouts, and a checklist. It also produces role-based versions (new hire vs. expert), adds safety/compliance notes, and embeds quick “why this step matters” context to reduce mistakes. The editor is intentionally strict: it flags vague steps, missing prerequisites, and untestable instructions, forcing clarity. Publishing supports versioning, approvals, and “last verified” dates so docs don’t rot. This is not a generic wiki; it’s a repeatability engine for operations, support, and onboarding where consistency matters more than prose.
