SortinoPilot
SortinoPilot is a web app that turns messy portfolio and strategy performance into a single, defensible risk-adjusted view focused on downside risk. Users connect a brokerage via read-only integration or upload CSVs, then the app computes Sortino ratio, downside deviation, max drawdown, rolling periods, and “pain per dollar earned” summaries across timeframes. It flags when a strategy’s good Sharpe is masking ugly downside tails, and it compares results to simple benchmarks (60/40, SPY, cash) with consistent assumptions. This is not a magic alpha generator: it’s a reporting and decision tool that makes it harder to lie to yourself with cherry-picked windows. The MVP should focus on clean ingestion, transparent methodology, and exportable reports for advisors, small funds, and serious DIY investors who need repeatable risk-adjusted performance evidence.
