SourceHound
SourceHound is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that turns your internal docs into a knowledge base where every answer must be backed by clickable citations. Users ask a question; the system returns a short response, highlights the exact passages used, and shows a confidence score. If the evidence is weak or outdated, it refuses to answer and instead suggests the top 3 documents to review or requests a subject-matter owner. Admins get an “evidence health” dashboard: which pages are most referenced, which answers fail due to missing sources, and which documents are stale or contradictory. The goal is not a chatty bot—it’s a knowledge base that reduces misinformation, onboarding confusion, and support escalations by forcing traceability. It connects to Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, and SharePoint, and keeps an audit trail of what the model used at any moment.
