SourceScribe

SourceScribe is a web + desktop companion for nonfiction writers who drown in links, PDFs, interview transcripts, and half-remembered quotes. It ingests your research (web articles, PDFs, Kindle highlights export, audio transcripts) and helps you outline chapters while keeping every claim tied to a source. The core is a “claim-to-citation” workflow: you draft a paragraph, mark statements as claims, and the app suggests supporting excerpts from your library with page numbers/timestamps. It also flags uncited assertions and potential misquotes, then generates a bibliography in common styles. This is not a magic book-writer; it’s a rigor tool that makes your manuscript defensible and easier to fact-check. Export to Word/Google Docs with inline citations and a source appendix, so editors and sensitivity readers can verify quickly.
