SourceSift
SourceSift is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-ons) that unifies search across your company’s scattered knowledge: Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, SharePoint, Slack, GitHub, and internal wikis. Instead of only returning links, it produces a concise “answer card” with quoted snippets, timestamps, and direct source links so people can verify quickly. It also shows coverage and confidence: what sources were searched, what was excluded due to permissions, and where results conflict. Admins get lightweight analytics on failed searches and knowledge gaps (e.g., repeated queries with no good sources). This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used for semantic retrieval and summarization, while the core value is reliable indexing, permissions, and traceable citations. The goal is fewer repeated questions, faster onboarding, and less time wasted hunting for the latest policy or decision.
