SOWSmith

SOWSmith is a web app (with optional Google Docs/Word add-ins) that helps consultants and agencies produce clear, enforceable Statements of Work. It guides users through a structured intake (objectives, deliverables, assumptions, client responsibilities, acceptance criteria, change control, milestones) and generates a clean SOW plus a risk checklist. An AI layer proposes language, flags ambiguity (e.g., “support as needed”), and highlights missing sections that commonly cause scope creep. It includes a clause library tuned by engagement type (strategy, implementation, data, design) and can map each deliverable to measurable acceptance tests. The app stores approved templates per firm, tracks revisions, and exports to PDF/Docx with consistent formatting. The goal is not “legal advice,” but practical clarity: fewer renegotiations, faster approvals, and better project outcomes.
