SpaceLedger is a mobile + web app for tracking physical storage capacity across closets, garages, sheds, storage units, and backrooms. Instead of trying to catalog every item (which most people abandon), it focuses on “containers and zones”: shelves, bins, racks, and unit corners. You create a simple map, assign each zone a capacity (bins count, shelf length, or cubic volume), then log what goes in/out with quick barcode/QR labels and fast text entry. The app shows real-time fullness, highlights overstuffed zones, and suggests where to place new items based on available capacity. For small businesses, it supports multiple locations and basic audit trails. It’s not magic: you still need to label zones and occasionally reconcile, but it reduces the constant “where can this go?” friction and prevents duplicate purchases caused by lost inventory.
