SpaceSignal
SpaceSignal helps people communicate personal-space and interaction boundaries in shared environments like offices, gyms, events, and roommates’ homes. Users create a simple “boundary card” (e.g., open to chat / heads-down, okay with hugs / no touch, noise sensitivity, do-not-disturb times) and share it via a QR code, link, or Apple/Google wallet pass. The app focuses on consent-forward defaults and quick, non-judgmental language templates so it doesn’t feel like HR paperwork. For teams and communities, SpaceSignal offers lightweight groups where norms can be set (e.g., meeting room etiquette, desk drop-in rules) and reminders can be posted without calling people out. It’s intentionally not a surveillance tool: no location tracking, no proximity sensors—just clear communication and optional check-ins. Realistically, adoption hinges on social buy-in, so the product is designed to be frictionless and easy to share.
