SpareSense

SpareSense is a web app (with an optional mobile companion) that connects maintenance signals to your storeroom reality. Instead of only predicting “a failure soon,” it translates asset health into recommended spare parts, quantities, and reorder timing—based on lead times, usage history, and criticality. It ingests CMMS work orders, basic sensor/PLC tags, and procurement data to build a lightweight digital twin focused on parts consumption and downtime risk. The MVP won’t pretend to be a perfect physics twin; it will be a pragmatic probabilistic model that flags which components are likely to be needed in the next 7/30/90 days and what stockouts will cost. It also highlights dead stock and suggests rationalization. The goal: fewer emergency buys, fewer line-stopping stockouts, and less cash trapped in slow-moving inventory.
