SpareSense

SpareSense is a web + edge desktop app that reduces unplanned downtime by forecasting industrial robot component failures and turning that forecast into actionable spare-parts and maintenance plans. It ingests controller alarms, servo load/temperature trends, cycle counts, and maintenance logs from common robot brands via OPC UA/MTConnect gateways or vendor exports. The AI layer detects drift patterns (e.g., rising motor current, repeatable axis following error, abnormal brake release time) and estimates remaining useful life with confidence bands, then recommends what to stock, when to schedule service, and which cells are at highest risk. It also tracks lead times and alternates for critical spares, so maintenance teams stop guessing and procurement stops over-ordering. This is not a “magic AI” promise: it works best on high-volume, repetitive cells where signals are consistent, and it clearly flags when data quality is too poor to predict reliably.
