SpeakEasy

SpeakEasy is a mobile + web AI coaching app that helps people say the right thing about mental health at work, in school, and at home—without sounding scripted. Users pick a scenario (e.g., teammate discloses depression, manager suspects burnout, friend jokes about “being bipolar”), then role-play a short conversation with an AI persona. The app scores responses for common stigma patterns (minimizing, moralizing, “just be positive,” privacy violations) and suggests better phrasing with explanations. It also offers 60-second “repair scripts” for when you already said something harmful. This isn’t therapy and doesn’t pretend to be; it’s communication training. Teams can optionally run anonymized pulse checks and micro-lessons, but the core value is quick, repeatable practice that reduces awkwardness and prevents real-world HR and relationship blowups.
