SpecDiff

SpecDiff is a web app (with optional Slack/Jira integrations) that helps product teams turn chaotic requirements into clear, testable specifications—and then keeps them accurate as changes happen. Users paste meeting notes, tickets, or PRDs and the app outputs a structured spec: scope, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, non-goals, and measurable success metrics. The core value is “spec drift” control: when a Jira ticket changes, a design doc updates, or a PR introduces new behavior, SpecDiff flags what parts of the spec are now inconsistent and generates a human-readable diff showing what must be updated. It also produces lightweight test plans (manual + automated test suggestions) tied directly to acceptance criteria, so QA and engineers stop arguing about what ‘done’ means. This is not a magic PM replacement—users must approve edits—but it dramatically reduces rework, missed edge cases, and late-stage surprises. Pricing targets SMB and mid-market teams who can’t justify heavyweight requirements tooling but are bleeding time from misalignment.
