SpecDiff
SpecDiff is a web app that monitors changes across key web standards (WHATWG, W3C, TC39, IETF) and turns them into actionable diffs for product teams. Instead of reading endless meeting notes and spec prose, you subscribe to the standards and features you care about (e.g., fetch, cookies, CSP, WebAuthn, ES proposals). The app shows semantic change summaries, highlights breaking/behavioral changes, and links directly to the exact spec sections and commits. It also generates “impact checklists” for browsers, frameworks, and enterprise apps, so teams can quickly decide whether to ignore, investigate, or implement. This is not a magic compliance button: it won’t replace engineers reading specs for critical changes. But it can drastically reduce the time spent discovering what changed and why it matters, and it creates a shared, searchable history of decisions.
