SpecDiff
SpecDiff monitors semiconductor datasheets, PCNs, and errata for the exact parts your team uses, then highlights what changed and what it likely impacts. It pulls documents from vendor sites, normalizes them, versions them, and produces a human-readable “diff” (electrical limits, pinouts, package options, ordering codes, lifecycle status). Engineers can map parts to projects/BOMs, set alert rules, and generate a change-impact report for design reviews and compliance. This is a web app with optional email/Slack notifications; it’s a combination traditional + AI app (AI summarizes and classifies changes, but the source-of-truth is the vendor document). Realistically, it won’t replace PLM or distributor tools; it’s a focused layer that reduces missed changes and last-minute respins. Pricing is per-seat plus per-part monitoring tiers, aimed at small-to-mid hardware teams that lack dedicated component engineering.
