SpecDrift
SpecDrift is a web app + CLI that continuously verifies your real API behavior matches your OpenAPI/AsyncAPI spec. It records live traffic (or replays staging traces), generates deterministic contract tests, and flags breaking changes like missing fields, type changes, status-code shifts, and undocumented endpoints. Instead of yet another API gateway or monitoring dashboard, it focuses on the ugly, expensive problem: silent drift between teams, versions, and microservices. It integrates with CI to block merges when drift is detected and can open PRs that update the spec or add backward-compatible shims. The product is brutally pragmatic: minimal setup, clear diffs, and actionable remediation steps. It’s not trying to “AI your APIs”; it uses targeted AI only to suggest spec patches and human-readable explanations. Pricing is per service and traffic volume, aimed at teams that already feel pain from regressions.
