SpecimenIQ is a mobile + web AI-assisted diagnostics workflow tool focused on the biggest, least glamorous source of lab waste: pre-analytic specimen errors (wrong tube, hemolysis risk, insufficient volume, labeling mismatches, delayed transport). Staff scan the order and specimen label, then the app runs a checklist tailored to test requirements and flags common failure points before the sample leaves the bedside. It also logs collection time, tube type, temperature/transport constraints, and chain-of-custody notes, generating a clean audit trail for the lab. Dashboards show redraw rates by unit, shift, collector, and test type so managers can target training and fix process bottlenecks. This is not a “diagnose the patient” app; it’s a quality and compliance layer that reduces rejected specimens, turnaround delays, and patient dissatisfaction while saving real money for hospitals and outpatient draw centers.
