SpecLock

SpecLock is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for food manufacturers to control product specifications and prevent “silent” formula/process drift. It centralizes approved specs (ingredients, allergens, nutrition targets, critical limits, packaging, label claims) and ties them to production runs and supplier lots. When a change is proposed—new supplier, ingredient substitution, process tweak, or packaging swap—the app forces an impact check (allergen, claim, nutrition, CCPs) and routes approvals to QA, R&D, and operations. It also generates a simple, audit-ready change log and links evidence (COAs, test results, sign-offs). An AI layer can auto-flag risky changes by comparing historical deviations, complaint patterns, and spec tolerances, but the core value works without AI. This is not glamorous software; it’s paperwork and discipline made less painful and more enforceable.
