SpecPulse

SpecPulse is a web app (with optional browser extension) that detects “UX drift” between design specs and what ships. It connects to Figma and your deployed site, then automatically checks key UI screens for spacing, typography, color tokens, component states, and accessibility basics. Instead of generic visual regression, it maps findings back to design-system rules and creates actionable tickets with exact diffs, CSS hints, and component names. Teams can set tolerance thresholds per component (e.g., buttons strict, marketing pages looser) and run checks on every PR or nightly. The goal is to stop slow, cumulative UI degradation that makes products feel sloppy and inconsistent—without requiring a dedicated QA designer. It’s not magic: it won’t judge “good taste,” but it will reliably flag measurable inconsistencies that hurt perceived quality and trust.
